WHY IT WORKS

Beef mince absorbs flavour quickly, making it perfect for fast cooking. The combination of soy, garlic, sweetness and heat creates a rich, sticky sauce with serious flavour. H-06 LIFTOFF delivers the heat and brings everything to life.

Recommended: Beef Mince. Look for good quality beef mince with moderate fat content. Ideal ratio: 80/20 lean-to-fat.

INGREDIENTS

  • 750g beef mince
  • 4 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 80mL soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp H-06 LIFTOFF
  • 1 tsp chilli flakes

Optional garnish: spring onion, sesame seeds

EQUIPMENT

  • Large frying pan or wok
  • Mixing bowl
  • Spatula

METHOD

1. Prepare sauce

Combine soy sauce, brown sugar, H-06 LIFTOFF and chilli flakes. Mix well.

2. Cook beef

Heat pan over high heat. Cook beef until browned, breaking apart with spatula.

3. Add garlic

Add garlic. Cook for 30–60 seconds.

4. Add sauce

Pour in sauce. Cook for 5–7 minutes until reduced and sticky.

5. Serve

Serve immediately.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS

Serve with steamed rice, spring onion, sesame seeds and steamed greens. Optional: top with extra H-06.
